When it comes to male fertility, it would seem that size really does matter! Which might explain men’s preoccupation with the size of their penises. Although it’s not the length they thought that’s important!
Environmental Health Perspectives released a study that shoes that anogenital distance, or AGD, had a factor to play in fertility. Anogenital length is the length between the anus and the base of the penis or vagina.
Men whose AGD was shorter than the average length of around two inches had seven times the chance of being sub-fertile as those with a longer AGD. The distance is related to male fertility, sperm count and semen volume.
So if you’d like to find out how fertile your man is, take a measuring tape while you’re down there! 😉
